Training with IBT

IBT, Inc. provides online and hands-on training to parents, providers, teachers, paraprofessionals, caregivers, child-care workers, and other interested individuals. Our training covers characteristics of autism and principles of ABA, as well as techniques such as reinforcement, prompting, prompt fading, environmental arrangement, social skills, peer groups, and managing problem behavior. Training is available individually or in groups and is arranged on an as-needed basis. Please contact IBT to schedule training.

IBT is also provides workshops periodically on numerous topics of concern within the community. Please see our News & Events page for upcoming workshop information.

Dr. Heitzman-Powell, IBT's psychologist, has worked for the last 21 years with children with behavioral challenges, and more specifically during the last 12 years with children with Autism and other developmental disabilities.

Rachel has worked with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders since 2003 and has been part of the IBT team since 2005.
