President
Dr. Linda Heitzman-Powell, Ph.D., BCBA-D, Licensed Psychologist

Dr. Heitzman-Powell, IBT's psychologist, has worked for the last 21 years with children with behavioral challenges, and more specifically during
the last 12 years with children with Autism and other developmental disabilities. She received 4 years of supervised training at the University of
Kansas Medical Center in the Child Development Unit where she gained substantial experience in the assessment and diagnosis of Autism and
other disabilities. In addition, she has extensive experience working with children with other forms of challenging behaviors such as ADHD,
Disruptive Behavior Disorder, Ractive Attachment Disorder, and Eating Disorders.
 
Vice-President, Instructional Technology - Dr. Jay Buzhardt, Ph.D.
 
Dr. Buzhardt's interests focus on the development, implementation and evaluation of technology-based instruction and assessment. He has
directed and co-directed several federally and locally funded projects that integrate web-based instruction with traditional face-to-face and
classroom training. He is also the co-director of a project aimed at developing and experimentally evaluating the use of early childhood
developmental assessments with web-based support and customized intervention advice.

 

Director of Clinical Services
Rachel L. White, Ph.D, BCBA

Rachel has worked with IBT since the summer of 2005. She earned her Masters degree in Applied Behavior Science at the University of Kansas
and is finishing her Ph.D. in Behavioral Psychology. Rachel's interests focus on early intensive intervention for children with Autism Spectrum
Disorders and structuring classrooms for student success. She has participated in federally funded grants implementing School-wide Positive
Behavior Supports in public schools and training parents of children with Autism using online and video-conferencing technologies.

 

Office Manager - Carrie Koch

Carrie Koch started in 2005 in the position of Office Manager and Human Resource director. She brings considerable experience and skill to the organization.

 

Administrative Specialist - Edna Heitzman

Edna Heitzman moved to Kansas from Columbus, OH in 2008 and joined IBT as an Administrative Specialist in June of that year.Prior to moving, Edna had been enjoying retirement, having worked for the Department of Defense in Ohion and Washington, DC as a certified Configuration and Data Manager. She retired in 2006 with 22 years government service. In her time off, Edna continues to work as the President of a company owned by her and her sister, Linda Heitzman-Powell.
 
 
Financial Specialist - Anna Frost

Anna has been employed with IBT since 2009 and handles company billing
