About IBT

Integrated Behavioral Technologies, Inc is a nonprofit, 501 (c) 3 organization, that serves children with Autism and their families in the Midwest region. While services are aviailble for a range of disorders, difficulties, and challenges faced by families, IBT focuses primarily on children and families affected by an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), including such diagnoses as Autism and Aspergers.

Autism is a developmental disorder that is typically diagnosed during the first 3 years of life, impairing an individual's ability to communicate and interact with others. Autism is a spectrum disorder that impacts each child with different levels of severity. Recent estimates are that 1 in every 150 children in America is diagnosed with a form of Autism. Autism is 4 times more prevalent in boys than in girls and can affect anyone, regardless of race, ethnicity or other factors

The United States Surgeon General recommends intensive systematic interventions services such as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) as the treatment for Autism. Current national focus is on addressing the need to begin early intervention services as soon as possible after a child has been diagnosed. Research has found that early intervention must be (1) comprehensive, (2) intensive, (3) extended over time, (4) individualized and (5) delivered directly to children.

IBT is dedicated to providing low-cost but effective services to children and their families.
